Very long Thursday

7 a.m.: skipped running and meditation this morning to try to get to work early. I can't believe how much I have to do! The e-mails are piling up, and so are the papers to grade.
10 p.m.: Well, I got through the day and taught three good classes. We got excellent feedback from last night's program on race. The Cape Cod Times gave it front-page coverage. I let my night class out after two hours, instead of keeping them until 9:30. We covered the material, and everyone (including me) was tired. I'll sleep well tonight.
