Holding my grandson

Today we drove from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to Asheville, North Carolina. The drive was long and boring, although the scenery of the Shenandoah Valley was beautiful. But the highlight of the day without question occurred when we arrived in Asheville. There I got to see my two sons and daughter-in-law, and best of all, my grandson, Nathaniel. I held him for the first time, and it was a very emotional experience for me. He is seven weeks old, and -- of course -- is the most beautiful baby in the world. I find it hard to believe that I have a grandson, but now that I have held him, there is no denying it.
